Hyper Light Drifter
I would like to think a majority of the readers that are currently perusing this article were alive during the 8-bit era of gaming. Now, I’m not going to sit here and say that the Nes and SNES era is the greatest in all video gaming, but I will say that some of my fondest memories of pure gaming bliss are in fact from that time frame. Hyper Light Drifter harkens back to that age of glorious simplicity and with all those crazy neon colors too. It’s top down, it’s challenging, and its got some sweet midi music to back up graphics. It’s going to be a good year for gamers indeed. For those who like their 8 bit throwback chock full of charm.
