NINJA GAIDEN (2004)
Ninja Gaiden has been a fixture of our industry for as long as anyone can remember, and though there have been a few blips in its quality over the years, and even now it’s not really in the best of states, its still provided us with a number of games that are nothing short of absolute masterpieces. The 2004 reboot of the series, which remained exclusive to the original Xbox for a long time, is one such game. With exciting, visceral combat, excellent level design, and a coat of sheen and polish that was unmatched back in its day, Ninja Gaiden was one of the best games to have been released in its generation.
