Supreme Commander
Supreme Commander was epic- yes epic is the word. The size and the scope of the game were immense, and the sense of scale just gargantuan. It had an emotionally moving story, varied missions that made for an interesting and fun campaign, tactical and strategy based gameplay which was a treat for all RTS purists and an overall fun and addicting gameplay. It did have a few issues of its own, like an insane learning curve, and equally insane hardware requirements, but it was, overall, a wonderful game.
Command and Conquer: Red Alert 2
While Red Alert 2 did not set as many benchmarks and introduce as many innovations as its predecessor did, it still made for an awesome experience. It had a rock solid gameplay, and interest alternative Cold War story, and had an overall feel of polish and refinement to it. It’s a shame that the Command and Conquer brand name has now gone down, but the Red Alert games will always be remember as time goes on.
Company of Heroes
Company of Heroes is one heck of a game. It has amazing graphics and sound, sky-high production values, amazing gameplay, complex and deep mechanics that are fashioned to cater to the hardcore RTS fan, awesome maps that are fully destructible to keep things fresh and entertaining, and a fresh new take on the World War II. it’s got everything it takes to be an awesome game, and it is one of the best titles we have ever come across on the system.
