Homeworld
Homeworld was an awesome game back when it was released- heck, it still is. The number of hours I’ve spent on this game are… are too many to be counted. And why not? It was built on a revolutionary 3D engine that provided with an excellent user interface, awesome gameplay, huge battles of gargantuan proportions, an epic storyline, a brilliant soundtrack and almost everything else that is needed to make a game pure ****ing awesome. Trust me, don’t care if it’s old. Because it’s awesome.
World in Conflict
Massive Games came into their own with World in Conflict- and boy, wasn’t the game one of the best RTS’s we’ve ever played. With a highly addictive gameplay, awesome campaign, spectacular multiplayer mode, neat and impressive visuals, and some great new tweaks to the RTS genre, World in Conflict has to be one of the best PC games ever. Anyone who owns a PC owes it to himself to go out there ad buy this game. Trust me, you won’t regret it.
StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty
The legendary brand name, StarCraft, was returning to the gaming industry after a long hiatus, and people wanted it to be as good as anything on the planet. StarCraft II did the impossible- it matched up to the expectations, it surpassed them, it turned out to be amazing even in the face of the competition and the original SC, and provided us with an excellent experience like no other. StarCraft II features a great campaign with an awesome story, sky-high production values, a great soundtrack, an amazing online mode, and a hell lot of other stuff that all comes together to make this one of the best games on the PC.
