Journey is a game you’ll either “get” right away, or you won’t understand in the slightest. It’s an artsy kind of game that sees you wander around an empty desert world alone, or with an online companion. That’s pretty much all there is to it, but you eventually grow close to your online companion as you wordlessly work to solve puzzles and explore the gorgeous art together. There’s not much replay value, but that first playthrough certainly is a amazing journey.
