#7. THE ROGUE PRINCE OF PERSIA
It wasn’t until too long ago that many of us were wondering whether the Prince of Persia franchise would ever even have a proper future, but this year has somehow seen not one, but two excellent new instalments (one of which we’ll get to in a bit). The Rogue Prince of Persia, developed by Evil Empire of Dead Cells fame, may have only launched in early access this year, but it has already impressed us as one of the best games we’ve played these last few months. A stunning art style, slick traversal mechanics, challenging combat, addictive progression, a solid roguelike structure- The Rogue Prince of Persia has got off to a solid start, and we can’t wait to see how it improves going forward.
