While Marcus and his band of soldiers may have won the war in the end, that wasn’t always the case. Gears of War Judgment follows Lt. Baird as he chainsaws and shoots his way through hordes of the subterranean baddies. The series’ trademark action is front and center here, showing players what the world has to offer before the original trilogy. Although there were some sections set after Gears of War 3, Judgment was by and large an excellent prequel.
