Metal Gear 2 – Metal Gear D & Gray Fox
The fight against the Metal Gear D in Metal Gear 2 might be the series best forgotten moment. It was an intense battle against a giant Metal Gear, piloted by Frank Jaeger, otherwise known as Gray Fox. Once you finally defeat the Metal Gear, you then have a knock-down, drag out fist fight against Fox in the middle of a minefield. What makes this fight so great is that it gets mentioned years later in Metal Gear Solid, and since Metal Gear 2 didn’t get released outside of Japan until years later, everybody thought this was just a backstory we never got to see.
