You usually don’t see dinosaurs exchanging blows and complex combos with a dinosaur, but Primal Rage leans into this bizarre idea. It’s a ton of fun clawing at big foot as a velociraptor, flipping through the air, whipping your tail and pulling off bloody finishers. The entire game is one big over the top experience. And it even plays pretty well to boot. Most dinosaur games try to capture the terror of the colossal reptiles, and Primal Rage’s goofy approach is a breath of fresh air.
