The Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall (62, 394 sq miles)
The worlds of the Elder scrolls series have set a standard for immersive fantasy realms. The second game in the epic fantasy series, Daggerfall opened up the world and let players explore all of Tamriel. This was the game that truly began to establish the world of the Elder Scrolls, creating a gargantuan, dynamic world that held hundreds of memorable experiences. It was also our first look at provinces that wouldn’t be visited until later games such as Morrowind, Cyrodiil and Skyrim. It set a precedent of greatness and established one of the most memorable places in gaming.
