46. Baldur’s Gate 2: Shadows of Amn
As the sequel to Baldur’s Gate, this Advanced Dungeons and Dragons title proved that western RPGs could have their own niche, still be incredibly fun to play and garner tons of success. Baldur’s Gate 2 received several “Role-Playing Game of the Year” awards for 2000, and stands as testament to Bioware’s best work to date.
