9. Pac-Man
At a first glance, the premise seemed simple but Pac-Man proved a real challenge even for seasoned gamers. Near the corners of a maze are four large flashing dots known as power pellets that provide Pac-Man with the ability to eat the ghosts hounding him throughout the maze. Collect all the smaller pellets and you can progress to the next stage. Most infamous for its glitch ridden final stage that had to be properly gamed to attain the highest possible score, Pac-Man will never die.
