10. Cry of Fear
Cry of Fear is a first person survival horror mod of Half Life. It used Valve’s source engine and it was incredibly creepy. The atmosphere, the abandoned hallways of Stockholm – it took a special kind of scary to make this game stand out. Cry of Fear delivered it in spades.
