Otacon asks you to swap discs
Metal Gear is probably the first game that really makes the player do a lot of work and makes them think and wonder if the characters are a fully aware AI. Octacon will give snake a call on his codec and ask him to pop in disc 2 – which is awfully parallel to the disc swap sequence from the original Metal Gear Solid. However the big surprise comes as Octacon realizes that the player is playing on a Playstation 3 and doesn’t need to swap as the disc is Blu-ray. Geez talk about product placement.
