Gradius 3

I’m sure most of you haven’t even heard of Gradius 3, but let me tell you there is a reason why this should be on the list. Now the plot for Gradius 3 is not rocket science or even Oscar worthy, but the game-play more and makes up for it. The player controls a ship known as the Vic Viper, as you blast your way through an evil alien empire.  The player can collect  orbs, and can gain new powers for your ship such as speed ups, missiles, lasers, and even a protective shield.
