In the NES days Capcom and Disney had quite the relationship as they spawned games like Ducktails, Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers, and Darkwing Duck and gave them some big-time NES success and fan base. The Magical Quest was quite a game changer in terms of innovation as gamers had to think on their feet. Magical Quest featured some solid platforming while adding a few new things like upgradable costumes with specific abilities. Mickey could change between a magician, a firefighter, a mountain climber, and his normal self to get through the adventure, but you’d need to be familiar with all four to win.
