Mass Effect Deception
Many Mass Effect fans were in denial over this book, mainly because of the fact that it didn’t keep up with the lore and had a lot of inconsistencies. The fourth Mass Effect novel, Deception centers on Gillian Grayson. This is the first book in the series to be written by William C. Dietz. Seeing that it a large number of fans protested, Bioware and Del Rey have announced that a number of changes are being made for future editions of the novel. That said, you shouldn’t let all the controversy deter you- it’s still a fun science fiction yarn, so give it a go.
