A game like Child of Light can be single handedly brought down if its soundtrack is lacking or not perfectly in synch with the thematic and narrative conceits of what’s going on on screen. Thankfully, Child of Light does not disappoint in that regard. Béatrice Martin really went all out to create a perfect blend of woodwinds and piano. The music is inspirational and it’s just a pleasure to listen to. Every note really resonates with the gamer within us, and makes us believe that Child of Light story while being a fairy tale of sorts, is also a very human story.
