Assassinations (Halo: Reach)

Halo Reach was awesome and sad at the same time. It was awesome as a game, but it was also Bungies final game, before they separated from Microsoft. However what made Halo Reach even more special was the combat, which was just wonderfully integrated into the game.  We could leap behind someone before spiking them into the ground, slam them to the floor to break their neck, and do a number of other brutal things to the enemy. I also love the time when you climbed up an Elite’s back so you could jam a knife into its throat.
