I should note that Sleeping Dogs has a pretty impressive combat system. The counters are quite effective, the punches and kicks are brutal and the takedowns are very effective. The protagonist can pull shutters down in enemies, smash their heads into a brick wall, or even burn their face by throwing them into a furnace. Good times.
