Half Life 2 Episode 2
Valve was really giving us a lot of Half Life tidbits here and there, and it was kind of unprecedented how they managed to really create tension and more questions in Half Life 2 Episode 2 . The trailer had Alyx Vance apparently dying and since Half Life 2, Alyx has become a beloved character in the Half Life universe, not to mention a potential love interest for Gordon Freeman.
