Creative Assembly and Sega recently announced Total War: Rome II and now they’ve put out an official trailer.
As a mix of live-action and Spartacus highlights (the good ones, at least), the trailer definitely drives the scope of the game home.
War, intrigue, political strife and diplomacy are only a few of the cards Creatively Assembly is looking to play to expand the scope of the series.
It’s definitely an interesting idea, and going to such a personal level of characterization – rather than showing off big battles and sweeping vistas – definitely piques our interest.
