Total War: Thrones Of Britannia First In-Engine Trailer And New Screenshots Revealed

The trailer looks very impressive, focusing on the story of Alfred the Great.

If you’re a fan of of strategy games and specifically, the Total War series, then you’ll know that the new Total War: Thrones of Britannia is slated for a 2018 release. Now, SEGA and Creative Assembly have released an in-engine trailer for the game and they’ve also released some screenshots of the game.

The trailer itself focuses on Alfred the Great as he leads his troops to face off against the Viking invasion. You’ll be able to learn about all the complexities of this history in the game. The game will feature ten playable factions and as such, will allow for some diverse tactics that players can choose as they see fit. The screenshots look impressive as well and showcase the soldiers engaged in battle.

As the game will feature the most detailed Total War map to date, players can expect to sink lots and lots of hours in this game. You can check out the new trailer and screenshots below.
