Tropico 5, the latest entry in the long running series of city simulation games, released for the PC earlier this year, with a Mac release following shortly thereafter. Now, publisher Kalypso Media has confirmed that the release of the Xbox 360 version of the game will be in November. Specifically, the game will launch on November 11, 2014.

Kalypso will be selling the game, both at retail, as well as digitally over Xbox Live. If you buy it physical, you also get the chance to pick up a special edition of the game, which comes with many additional goodies:

  • The Bayo del Olfato DLC
  • Bonus The Big Cheese DLC
  • A printed Tropico passport
  • A Tropico postcard

Kalypso also reiterated its commitment to the PlayStation 4 version of the game, promising that it would be coming for sure ‘some time in 2015.’

Personally, I am interested in seeing how they made a complex city sim work on a traditional controller, so I look forward to seeing what the Xbox 360 port will be like.
