In 2015, the classic N64 dinosaur action games Turok and Turok 2 were remastered and brought over to PC via a Steam release by Night Dive Studios, the folks who seem to have made an art form of remastering classic shooters for modern platforms (they are currently working on a System Shock remaster). And now, today, Night Dive Studios confirmed plans to bring Turok and Turok 2 Remastered to Xbox One.

As of right now, the Xbox One version is all that they can confirm- a fan pointedly asked them about a potential Xbox version, but Night Dive had nothing to say. “We’re evaluating other platforms but can’t confirm at this time,” their response reads. Which is a bit of a shame, but baby steps, I guess.

Turok and Turok 2 were originally released exclusively on the Nintendo 64- while many will tell you that the games did not age all that well, the remasters, at least, seem to have polished them enough that they hold up well. You can check out the trailer for the remasters below for yourself.
