Ubisoft has announced a stream of post launch downloadable content for its upcoming Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag, alongside a Season Pass that gives players access to all the DLC for a reduced price. The DLC and the season pass have so far been announced for the PC, Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 4 (sorry Wii U owners… you guys get shafted again).
The DLC includes multiple single player missions to enhance the story in the core game, including ‘Freedom Cry’, a nine mission self-contained story featuring Edward Kenway’s first mate Adewale.
In addition to that, the Season Pass includes the exclusive Kraken Ship Pack (actually available only if you purchase the Pass), new weapons, ships, and collectibles to customize your experience, and new characters for the multiplayer mode.
Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag launches for the Xbox 360, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Wii U, and for PC later this year.
