Ubisoft Delays Assassin’s Creed 4 ‘Freedom Cry’ DLC On PC

Ubisoft has announced that ‘Freedom Cry’ the upcoming DLC for Assassin’s Creed 4 will see delays across the PC platform. The DLC will likely release sometime in the next couple of weeks. The PlayStation 3 , PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One versions are being released today on schedule.

“The PC version of the Freedom Cry DLC for Assassin’s Creed IV Black Flag will release in the coming days,” said Mr_Shade, a manager of the UK Ubisoft forums. “We are taking the extra time to apply a final layer of polish to ensure that it meets the expectations of our fans.”

Freedom Cry is a story driven content add on in which the player stars as Adewale, first mate to the protagonist of the main plot of Assassin’s Creed 4. It, like the rest of the game will take place in 18th century Haiti, where Adewale and his all new crew will free slaves from plantations that abound on land.
