Ubisoft DRM limits GPU changes to three

You can’t change the graphics card in your PC more than thrice or your favourite Ubisoft game may stop working – Anno 2070 in this specific case.

Ubisoft has been rejected by the PC community a lot, and the publisher hasn’t been that kind to the community either, whether it is blaming piracy or using some sort of DRM.

You will be locked out of the game if you change the GPU more than thrice. This was found by Guru3D, while testing various GPU for comparison. Ubisoft hasn’t responded, but why would they?

This is not the first time they are implementing a DRM like this.
