Ubisoft thinks that 50% of games will use 3D in 2012

One of the biggest things that you will be able to do in the near future is 3D gaming, with some titles like Avatar the game already supporting it, you might be wondering how will things do with future titles and the gaming industry as a whole.

Ubisoft thinks that 3D gaming will increase by 15-20% in 2011, and by 50% in 2012.

“We will see more and more products coming in 3D on 360 and PS3 but also on portable machines,” said Guillemot

“We can count on substantial growth in the 3D market just because it’s more immersive, so it will be a good way for the industry to give even more emotion to the gamers.” he added.

Expect 3D to show up at E3, mainly in Sony’s conference but i’m pretty sure Microsoft will get some 3D love as well.
