It sounds like Ubisoft is about to restrict its output a bit relatively- instead of releasing multiple AAA games every year like it usually does, it sounds like the company will release four major AAA products through the course of the year, CEO Yves Guillemot confirmed at Ubisoft’s investor meeting. It remains to be seen what those are.

At the same time, for one of the series that Ubisoft would originally have released a new game in, they have chosen to just expand upon an existing release, by delivering existing content for it. This could be referring to anything from The Crew, The Division, Rainbow Six: Siege, or even Steep.

As for the new four AAA style releases from Ubisoft this year… well, there will be a new Far Cry, that’s for sure, and the new Assassin’s Creed will also be this year. Can the last one be a new Splinter Cell, please?
