UK Charts: FIFA 13 destroys opposition with a million

Not shocking at all.

Posted By | On 01st, Oct. 2012

FIFA 13 has sold 1 million in a week in the UK and no one didn’t expect this to happen. The franchise is gigantic in the UK and all over the world, and EA must be completely elated at how good they’ve maintained the franchise.

Borderlands 2 from Take 2 takes the no. 2nd spot followed by F1 2012 from Codemasters. I mean, such a thing is totally expected because this is what happens every year after the launch of these games. World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria came at no. 4 followed by Pro Evolution Soccer 2013 from Konami.

“It’s time for the market to explode, as EA’s ‘FIFA 13’ debuts at No1 and joins the select club of titles that have sold more than 1m units in their opening week, the others being Call of Duty series Black Ops and Modern Warfare 2 & 3. ‘FIFA 13’ outsold previous best ‘FIFA 12’ by +27% in units and +31% by revenue (based on opening week sales),” UKIE wrote.
