Unreal Engine 4 to be unleashed this year

Posted By | On 10th, Feb. 2012

Epic’s Mark Rein has revealed to G4TV that they will be showing more of Unreal Engine 4 this year. Gears of War was the only franchise that showcased the advancements of this engine, and I think Mass Effect games did a pretty good job as well.

It will be interesting to see how much improvements the new Engine will have, but Rein has said that, he expects people to be blown away.

“People are going to be shocked later this year when they see Unreal Engine 4 and how much more profound an effect it will have,” Rein said.

Stay tuned for more news from DICE 2012, where Epic will be revealing more information about the engine.
