Remember the classic rallying and motocross series V-Rally? It used to be something of a cult hit, starting all the way back on the original PlayStation, and getting new games through to 2003. After that, it went dormant, and it has lain dormant for the last decade and a half, ever since.

Now, it is coming back. Bigben Interactive and Kylotonn Entertainment today announced V-Rally 4, the first new entry in the series since 2003, which will be launching this September. This game will include over 50 models of rallying and extreme motorsport vehicles, including the Porsche 911 Safari, a Ford Mustang and a Ford Fiesta RS RX. Players will also be able to upgrade and customize the cars to their liking.

“It’s a real privilege for me to once again work on the V-Rally series,” said Alain Jarniou, Game Director at Kylotonn about the new game. “It’s an extraordinary title that I have a very special connection to. I had a chance to join the team that created V-Rally to develop V-Rally 3 on the PlayStation 2 as a programmer. I’m very proud to be working on the franchise again 15 years later.”

V-Rally 4 intends to remain faithful to the original titles. It will be available this September, and it will be launching for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC. You can check out the announcement teaser for this new game for yourself below.
