Sega has released a new trailer for Valyria Chronicles 4 and it showcases the crossover missions which feature the cast from the original Valkyria Chronicles. As a beloved game of the previous generation, this trailer is sure to make fans of the series feel nostalgic.
These are Special DLC missions and the first of these is the “Advance Special Operation” mission which will feature Edy, the beloved soldier character. Once the mission is completed, Edy will be unlocked in the main game as well. The other mission is “Joint Operation With Squad 7” and as the name suggests, features a mission where players will fight alongside the heroes of the original Valkyria Chronicles, the members of squad 7.
If you don’t remember, Squad 7 consists of Alicia Melchiott, Isara Gunther, Brigitte “Rosie” Stark, Largo Potter, and Welkin Gunther. This mission is included as a bonus in the Japanese Collector’s Edition.
Valkyria Chronicles 4 is set to release for the PS4, Xbox One, and the Nintendo Switch in North America and Europe in 2018. The game will release in Japan for the PS4 on March 21, 2018 and will release for the Switch at some later date in the summer.
