The game is due out in May.
Valkyria Chronicles Remastered is due out on the PS4 in May and Sega has released a brand new story trailer in order to get gamers excited about it. For those who never played the original and don’t know much about the game, a war is raging across the game’s world and the main characters, Gallia and Gunther, Alicia, Largo and the rest of Squad 7 have joined fight “for personal reasons.”
These reasons are a bit of a secret as the game opens but we find out more about why each of the characters are fighting as hard as they as the deeper we go into the story. Some of that story is certainly showed off in this new trailer, as well as just how players will be able to navigate the remastered version of the fan favorite. Sega appears quite proud about this version mainly because it has been able to keep the original look and feel of Valkyria Chronicles while ramping up the graphics output to 1080p/60fps.
Valkyria Chronicles Remastered is following the pattern of other remastered titles which means all the DLC that was released for the original game is going to be coming with this launch. You’ll get the full game as well as Hard EX Mode, Edy’s Mission, Selvaria’s Mission, and Challenge of the Edy Detachment. Valkyria Chronicles Remastered is due to release digitally exclusively on the PS4 on May 17, 2016.
