After a lengthy beta stage, last year saw the full 1.0 release of Riot Games’ Valorant. By and large, it was a solid enough shooter, but probably did not blow up in the way many probably expected. Still, though, it has crafted a pretty solid player base and has enjoyed continued support since the official launch. Now the newest agent gets an introduction ahead of the newest season.

Valorant‘s next season, which they are calling Episodes, is set to release tomorrow. As part of that is their newest agent, Yoru. Like all new agents, Yoru gets a cinematic trailer, which you can see in full below. He is a Japanese operative who has teleport abilities as well as heavier focus on stealth that lets him create flashbang effects and use an echo of himself to distract and escape enemies.

Valorant is available now on PC with Episode 2, Act 1 launching January 12th. While it has been mentioned Riot Games is looking into a console version, none has been announced at this time.
