Vampire Survivors seems to be getting a new director’s cut version. Twitter user Laura Kate Dale shared a screenshot that seems to be the title screen for Vampire Survivors Director’s Cut. According to Dale, players were selected at an event for the game’s upcoming co-op mode to try out the director’s cut for 20 minutes.
Going by some of the screenshots shared by Dale, Vampire Survivors Director’s Cut seems to feature quite a bit of new content, including new playable characters, as well as a level called The Coop which seems to haave up to 300 chickens.
Vampire Survivors will be getting its co-op mode on August 17, allowing up to four players to play the game together locally. The co-op mode for Vampire Survivors has been seeing quite a bit of hype thanks to the release of new gameplay trailers.
The release of co-op for Vampire Survivors coincides with the game’s impending release on the Nintendo Switch, which is slated to take place on the same day. Vampire Survivors is also getting an animated TV adaptation.
Okay, so, surprise.
Vampire Survivors – Directors Cut exists, it's drastically different from the base game, and I might be the only person outside of the dev team who has played it.
