6. Wolfenstein: The New Order
B.J. Blazkowicz has suffered amnesia courtesy the trauma of a mission gone wrong (many of us still wondering how can HE of all people get that from a trivial trauma) and escapes the asylum after 14 years. The game sets its dice rolling in a new direction which promises to associate players more with our beloved character Blazkowicz’s traumatic life and history instead of the not so hulking guy who used to rip through Nazi ranks and strongholds before forgetting he’d left the keys to the door looming ahead, and going back the same way ripping the enemy further. B.J. will still be doing that except that we’ll gain an insight into his life alongside. B.J. would still be rolling through the steampunk world with insane Nazi experiments and advances to accompany him. The prospect has had its share of criticism and appreciation but doesn’t seem to have dampened the spirits of gamers all around the globe.
