Nexon has announced a new action RPG for PC. Titled Vindictus: Defying Fate, the game will be inspired by Celtic mythology. As its name might imply, Vindictus: Defying Fate will share the same setting as the MMORPG Vindictus.

Vindictus: Defying Fate is currently stated to be in the pre-alpha stage of development. The game is set to get a public pre-alpha release, which players can participate in by adding the game to their Steam wishlist. While it is currently in the works for PC, a console release is also stated to be planned for release after the PC version comes out, according to IGN.

Nexon describes Vindictus: Defying Fate as a dark and intense odyssey. Players will be able to make their own character, not only in appearance, but also in weapons and combat style. After making their characters, players will be able to take part in fast-paced combat, which has been described by Nexon as being a test of skill, strategy and reflexes in just about every battle.

Vindictus: Defying Fate doesn’t yet have a release date.
