Posted By | On 25th, Nov. 2011

After the AT&T partnership in the US announced during this year’s E3 by SCEA, for providing 3G services for the Playstation Vita, it’s the turn of SCEE to do the same, and they have chosen Vodafone for this.

It will be available in limited countries at the start which include, UK, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Spain, Portugal, Australia, New Zealand and The Netherlands, and with Vodafone’s Partners in France (SFR).

There are some benefits as well if you chose Vodafone, and in case you do, you will get a PlayStation Network voucher for Wipeout 2048.

“With social gaming and connectivity at the heart of PlayStation Vita it is important that we partner with a market leading network provider, to ensure users have a high quality 3G experience.” said Jim Ryan, President & CEO of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe.

Vodafone’s Patrick Chomet chimed in as well. He said, “We want our customers to have the best choice of devices and PlayStation Vita is a great addition to our range.”
