Gaijin Entertainment has announced that their upcoming next-generation MMO combat game War Thunder for PlayStation 4 will feature built-in live streaming via Twitch in the game itself. As of patch 3.1 players can now use the live-streaming capability thanks to the partnership between Gaijin Entertainment and Twitch on the PC version.
This is what Gaijin Entertainment had to say regarding the partnership with Twitch:
“Working with Twitch is a very important step in War Thunder’s social campaign, »said Gaijin Entertainment CEO Anton Yudintsev. “Streaming War Thunder is very common among our community, so by adding live streaming functionality to Twitch with the touch of a button it will make this element of the game even more popular.”
It seems that live-streaming is becoming more and more popular, and even Xbox One features twitch as their main partner for streaming enthusiasts. The PlayStation 4 is partnered up with U Stream instead.
