War Thunder’s Newest Update Adds PS4 Pro Support

Plus, substantial amounts of new content.

Posted By | On 25th, May. 2017

The newest update for Gaijin Entertainment’s War Thunder, update 1.69, adds the Italian d”Regia Aeronautica air force as a playable faction in the game, bringing 35 new planes to the mix in the process. The update also adds new planes and tanks for four other nations.

That’s not all, either- smoke shells, smokescreens, and three new maps have been added. So it’s a pretty substantive update all around as far as content additions go. But for PS4 owners, there’s another feather in the cap, an icing on the cake, the cherry on the icing: the game now has support for PS4 Pro, meaning PS4 Pro owners can now enjoy the game in 4K.

A new trailer for this update also showcases the Italian planes and factions that have been added to the game. You can check it out for yourself below. Make sure to let us know what you think in the comments section.
