Developer Complex Games and publisher Frontier Foundry have announced that the latest DLC for turn-based tactical strategy game Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters, titled Execution Force, is out now on PC, and is priced at £12.99/$14.99/€14.99, depending on your region. Celebrating the launch of the DLC is a new trailer that you can check out below.
The Execution Force DLC brings four new Assassin classes to the game, with each new unit having its own unique style of play and loadout. The DLC also brings with it new Tentarus Hive missions, as well as new boarding action missions that allow players to pursue and dispose of Death Guard cruisers.
The four new Assassin classes are the Vindicare Assassin, the Eversor Assassin, the Culexus Assassin, and the Callidus Assassin. Where the Vindicare Assassin focuses on long-range combat with snipers, the Eversor Assassin focuses on attacking multiple targets. The Culexus Asssassin, on the other hand, focuses on disabling Nurgle’s psychic energies, and the Callidus Assassin focuses on using stealth to slip behind enemy lines.
Alongside the DLC, Warhammer 40,000: Chaos Gate – Daemonhunters has also gotten a free update that brings new Warp Surge events to the game, as well as three new enemy types: the Plague Surgeon, the Nurgling Swarm, and the Beast of Nurgle.
