Warner Bros. and Mattel Bringing Us Hot Wheels World’s Best Driver

Game launching this September.

Warner Bros. seems to be working on expanding its portfolio and its appeal beyond what it currently has even further; it is now teaming up with Mattel and bringing us Hot Wheel’s World’s Best Driver, a racing game based on the popular Hot Wheels line of toys from Mattel, to the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Nintendo 3DS, and PC. Yes, I am afraid Vita owners are going to have to sit this one out. Tragic, really.

The game sees players joining the ranks of Team Hot Wheels and competing in dozens of fast-paced, replayable challenges each of which highlights the distinct strength and style of a team – Green Team’s speed, Red Team’s technique, Blue Team’s handling, or Yellow Team’s jumps. To that end, the game gives players 24 iconic Hot Wheels vehicles, and four under the radar test facilities.

This game launches September 20 in the UK; stay tuned for further coverage.
