Watch Dogs 2_03

The first Watch Dogs was set in Chicago. For the sequel, Ubisoft will be going to the sunnier San Francisco. And like the first game recreated Chicago with painstaking detail, so too, will Watch Dogs 2 feature a rather convincing and thorough digital recreation of the city that the game is set in.

How convincing and thorough? Well, apparently, a rather accurate recreation, if this new short video comparison of real life San Francisco, and the in game San Francisco of Watch Dogs 2, posted by IGN on their Twitter account, is any indication. In fact, the video game is actually probably kinder to San Francisco than reality is- a lot of the locations look more cleaned up and appealing in the game than they do in real life.

You can check out the comparison for yourself below. Watch Dogs 2 is set to launch on Xbox One, PS4, and PC on November 15. Let us know if you plan on picking it up in the comments section.
