Contrary to all the conflicting information that’s been out there, it sounds like Watch Dogs 2, Ubisoft’s excellent seeming sequel to 2014’s rather dour open world action adventure hit, will in fact support Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro console at launch. Jonathan Morin, the Creative Director for the game, confirmed Pro support at launch on his Twitter account.

Watch Dogs 2 had been one of the games that Sony had demonstrated during the PS4 Pro unveil, so the game supporting the console was never in question. However, when exactly PS4 Pro support would be enabled had been unclear. Now we do know that the game will support the Pro at launch, although the full extent of what kinds of enhancements will be available at launch, and whether or not more will be coming down the line, are still unknown.

Watch Dogs 2 will launch on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on November 15. Sony’s PlayStation 4 Pro console launches on November 10. Thoughts on this? Let us know in the comments section below.
