2.  PlayStation 3 exclusive? I don’t think so

Ok, PlayStation lovers don’t jump on me right away. As I stated earlier I am only going to give you facts, no assumptions.

When asked why Hideo Kojima betrayed PlayStation by announcing Metal Gear Solid: Rising for the other platforms, he replied, “I don’t make games for platforms I make games for players, and it’s because of the players that I’m able to be here.”

“I basically think that the future of gaming is less about platforms and more about cloud-computing, with a super-computer and people connecting to that.”

Ok, so Kojima wanted to try various platforms for his games and that meant the next big MGS game (RISING) had to be multiplatform. Rising is due on PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC.

3.   Hideo Kojima: The Ultimate Teaser ever

Remember the announcement of Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty? Remember gaming’s most worst kept secret? RAIDEN IN MGS2!

When the promo trailers were shown before MGS2, the game play sections which were to be played by Raiden in the actual game were replaced by Snake just to dupe the people. Don’t believe me? Take a look at the video below. Jump to 3:25.

Kojima has said on many occasions that he is not involved with Rising. The young team is involved with development and he is just over looking. Trust me that is a just a teaser.

If you think that he is not teasing then MGS should have ended with MGS2: Sons of Liberty almost a decade ago, as Kojima stated that MGS2 was his last game, but he made MGS3, stated the same thing, made MGS4, stated the same thing, and ended with Peace Walker!

The guy loves teasing! And that’s why he is the most the love-able game designer around too 🙂
