5. Hyrule Warriors

Hyrule Warriors is something that probably no one had ever expected or thought of ever wanting. But there we have it. There have been a number of cross-overs that have had us occupied for more time than we’d wish to allocate to entertainment. Here’s another. Nintendo and Tecmo Koei have paired up to do this cross-over of The Legend of Zelda and Dynasty Warriors. The gameplay is very similar to Dynasty Warriors but the players will control Link to beat the living hell out of enemies which will mostly from The Legend of Zelda. The game is an absolute delight because of its focus on melee combat. Link has at his disposal swords, bombs and his signature spin move. The combat looks gladdening. Not an awful lot has been revealed but we’re willing to wait just a little more.
