Wii U won’t have anti-used game features

Posted By | On 19th, Jun. 2012

After rumours came abound that the next Xbox and the PS4 will have have features that would prevent users from running pre-owned games, there was a uge backlash from everyone. Anyone who’s been worrying that the Wii U will have that kind of a feature can relax now, since Nintendo’s confirmed that the Wii U will have no such features.

“It is a reality in the marketplace,” Nintendo of America’s EVP of sales and marketing, Scott Moffitt told GameSpot. “We haven’t incorporated any features that will discourage used game sales at this point. We’re not trying to circumvent that.”

Well, good news, eh? After the horrible conference the Wii U had at E3 earlier this week, it’s good to hear some good news.
