WILD HEARTS Will Feature 4K/30 FPS and 1080p/60 FPS Options on PS5 and Xbox Series X

However, there's no word yet on the game's performance and resolution targets on last-gen consoles.

Seeing as it’s launching as a cross-gen title, no one is really expecting WILD HEARTS to leverage the hardware of current-gen machines in any major way, but as is the case for most games, the monster hunting action RPG will, of course, feature options on new consoles that will allow for improved visual and technical performance.

In a recent AMA on Reddit, WILD HEARTS’ executive producer Lewis Harvey revealed that on PS5 and Xbox Series X, the game will feature two graphics modes- Performance Mode, which will run at 1080p and 60 FPS, and Quality Mode, which will run at 4K and 30 FPS. As per Lewis, the former will serve as the game’s default mode.

There’s no word yet on what the game’s performance and resolution targets will be on Xbox Series S, or on last-gen consoles.

WILD HEARTS launches on February 17 for PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, and PC.
